Replacing Components in Your Gateway Profile 4
Replacing the optical drive
The removable drive pack contains the diskette drive, drive adapter card, and
an optical drive. The optical drive may be a CD, DVD, or recordable drive.
To replace the optical drive:

Turn off the computer and prepare it by following the instructions in
"Preparing your computer" on page 4.

Remove the two retaining screws located on either side of the Microsoft
Certificate of Authenticity label on the back of your computer.
