Drive shafts

Bravo-Brava ffi 12v
1. Disconnect the drive shaft from the differ­
ential levering on the engagement point,
then withdraw it from the car.
NOTE To refit, re verse the pro cedure for re -
moval, tightening the hub nut to the
specified torque.
DISMANTLING
2. Place the drive shaft in a vice, remove the
protective gaiter from the joint on the
gearbox side, then remove the joint.
3. Remove the circlip from the tripod joint
and withdraw the joint from the drive
shaft.
NOTE If the joint is damaged, it should be
renewed.
4. Undo the clip on the protective gaiter on
the gearbox side, then withdraw it from
the drive shaft.
