Temperature control

6.1
Changing the setpoint temperature (SP)
On the home page, press up
the SP is higher than the measured temperature*, the OP1 indicator will illuminate at the top of
the display, indicating that the controller is calling for power (giving an output). The orange
heat light(s) will light up.
The controller will immediately attempt to reach the SP as quickly as possible and maintain it.
*Read section 4.5 for further notes about the Setpoint at ambient temperature.
6.2
Ramp to setpoint
To heat up at a slower controlled rate, run a 2 segment program. [See section 8].
The first segment needs to be a ramp Rate or Time span to reach the Setpoint target. The
second segment needs to be a Dwell for a set period of time or an End type Dwell where the
furnace will remain on continuously at that temperature.
