Replacing the flue gas sensor
A
DANGER OF FATAL ACCIDENT/FIRE
due to flue gas escaping.
After carrying out these activities, check the system for
leaks on the flue gas side.
Switch off the power supply to the heating system, see
section 72.
Open the boiler door as instructed in section 73.
Disconnect the plug of the flue gas sensor as instructed in
section 97.
Remove the cap from the measuring nipple of the combus-
tion air supply as instructed in section 97.
Remove the flue gas sensor [1].
Install the new flue gas sensor in reverse order.
Attach the plug of the new flue gas sensor in reverse order.
Close the boiler door in reverse order.
Switch on the power supply to the heating system, see
section 79.

Open the boiler door as instructed in section 73.

Disconnect the plug of the glow ignitor [1].
Set the multimeter to "Measure AC voltage". Minimum mea-
suring range: 120 VAC [2].
Switch on the power supply to the heating system, see
section 79.
Put the boiler in flue gas test mode, see section 20.
Check that approx. 120 VAC is measured on the plug [3]
while the operating code
Switch off the power supply to the heating system, see
section 72.
Attach the plug of the glow ignitor in reverse order.
Close the boiler door in reverse order.
Switch on the power supply to the heating system, see
section 79.
