1.TROUBLESHOOTING FOR THE HARDWARE

Paper misfeed in the bypass tray

1 Move the green paper holding lever toward the
outside.
The paper can now be removed.
2 Pull out the misfed paper in the bypass tray.
3 Place paper in the bypass tray again and then move
the green paper holding lever toward the inside.
If a sheet of paper is stained, folded or torn, replace it with a
new one.

Paper misfeed in the automatic duplexing unit

Be careful not to let your fingers be caught between the equipment and the duplexing unit cover or
automatic duplexing unit cover.
This could injure you.
Open the automatic duplexing unit cover on the right.
