If your J4 has drives installed, skip ahead to "Connect the power" on page
6. If your J4 does NOT have drives installed, fi rst install four storage drives
in the J4.

EMOVE HOUSING COVER
1. Make sure the J4 is
powered off, and that
no power
Thunderbolt cables are
attached.
2. Turn the
down and place it on
a clean,
or similar fl at stable
surface. Be careful not
to scratch the housing.
3. Use a small
screwdriver to remove
the fi ve screws that
secure the top housing.

The electronic components within the Pegasus J4
enclosure are sensitive to damage from Electro-Static
Discharge (ESD). Observe appropriate precautions at all
times when handling the J4 and storage drives
