In the administrator mode of Web Connection, select "User Auth/Account Track" ö "Authentication
Method".
(This menu item will not be displayed when Authentication Manager is used for authentication.)

Configure the default settings for function permissions to users who are authenticated on the external server.
For details, refer to page 2-135.

Description
Enter the default NDS tree name (up to 63 characters).
Enter the default NDS context name (up to 191 charac-
ters).
Description
Select "ON (External Server)".
Select whether to allow the public user access.
If you select "ON (Without login)", the user logged in as the
public user can use this machine without authentication.
If you enable both user authentication and account track
and allow public user access to this machine, you must
set "Synchronize User Authentication / Account Track" to
"Synchronize".
To enable account track, select "ON".
To select "ON", specify the authentication method first,
and then register accounts in "Account Track Settings".
To synchronize user authentication with account track and
manage users for each account track, select "Synchro-
nize".
To synchronize, specify the account name when logging
in for the first time. The account name that the user specify
at the first login time will be registered as the account
name of the user.
