FUEL TANK
Do not allow flames or sparks near gasoline.
Wipe up spilled gasoline at once.
REMOVAL
Remove the seat attaching nuts and remove the
seat
.
Free the wire harness from the clamp under
the fuel
tank.
Disconnect the tail/stoplight and rear turn signal
wires from the wire harness at the connector.
Remove the fuel tank rear mounting bolts.
Remove the oil tank cover.
Remove the fuel tank front mounting
bolts.
Turn the fuel cock to OF
F
and disconnect the fuel
line.
Remove the fuel tank.
INSPECTI
ON
Check the vent hole of the filler cap for
blockage.
