11 Voice Dialer
Use Voice Dialer to execute certain commands
through voice recognition.
Launch Voice Dialer
1. From the home screen, touch Main Menu
icon.
2. At the main menu, touch Voice Dialer.
3. When prompted to speak, say a command
from the displayed list on the screen. When
the application recognizes the command, it
executes the command immediately.
Voice Dialer Options
Call a Contact
1. Activate Voice Dialer.
2. When prompted to speak, say Call
[contact]. For example, to call John
Smith's mobile phone, say "Call John
Smith Mobile". Your device will
automatically call the contact.
If the application cannot recognize the
name or number, it displays several
possible matches. Say or touch Yes or No.
3. Complete the phone call.

Dial a Number
1. Activate Voice Dialer.
2. When prompted to speak, say Dial
[number]. For example, to dial
800-555-1234, say "Dial 8005551234".
Your device will automatically dial the
number.
If the application cannot recognize the
name or number, it displays several
possible matches. Say or touch Yes or No.
3. Complete the phone call.
Launch an Application
1. Activate Voice Dialer.
2. When prompted to speak, say Open
[application]. For example, to open
Calculator, say "Open Calculator".
3. Use the application.
Note: If you do not specify an application after
the command Open, the screen displays a list
of applications, then waits for you to say an
application name.
