Connect to TTY Device
You can connect the device to a teletype (TTY)
device (sold separately) for the hearing
impaired.
Note: Enable TTY only when using the device
with a TTY device.
1. Connect the TTY device to your device.
2. Touch TTY mode.
3. If necessary, touch OK to clear the
notification.
4. Select one of the following:
– TTY Off disables TTY devices.
– TTY Full enables TTY devices.
– TTY HCO enables TTY devices and
hearing carry over.
– TTY VCO enables TTY devices and
voice carry over.
Enable Voice Privacy
Touch Voice Privacy to use enhanced digital
CDMA privacy. A check mark indicates Voice
Privacy is enabled.
Set DTMF Tones
Touch DTMF Tones to set how long the
dual-tone multi-frequency (DTMF) tones last
when you dial a number.

Accounts
From Accounts, you can modify the following
features.
Add an Account
Your device can receive calls from an
Internet-based phone account, when you are
using Wi-Fi. To add an account, do the
following:
1. Touch Add Account.
2. Enter the information for your account,
such as user name, password and server.
3. When done, press the Back key.
Receive Incoming Calls via Internet
Touch Receive incoming calls to receive all
incoming calls with your Internet-based
account. A check mark indicates Receive
incoming calls is enabled.
Set Internet Calling
Your device can make and receive phone calls
using an Internet-based account.
1. Touch Use Internet calling.
2. Select one of the following:
– For all calls to use your account for all
phone calls.
– Only for Internet calls to use your
account only with other Internet-based
phone calls.
– Ask for each call to be prompted about
using your account for each call.
