Launch Maps
Maps allows you to view a friend's location
and share your location with them on Google
Maps.
Note: Your device's GPS must be enabled to
use this feature. For more information, see
"Enable Location for GPS" on page 63.
1. From the home screen, touch Main Menu
icon.
2. At the main menu, touch Maps.
3. At the Maps screen, you can do one of the
following:
– Enter a location in the search field and
touch Search icon to find it.
– Touch icon on top icon bar to launch
Places, add layers or change
perspective.
– Use the controls to zoom in or out.
– Press the Menu key to access more
features.
Launch Navigation
Navigation is a Web-based GPS navigation
service which allows you to get directions for
destination by voice.
Note: Your device's GPS must be enabled to
use this feature. For more information, see
"Enable Location for GPS" on page 63.
1. From the home screen, touch Main Menu
icon.

2. At the main menu, touch Navigation.
3. At the Navigation screen, enter a
destination and follow the voice prompts.
Launch News & Weather
News & Weather allows you to read the latest
headline, sports, entertainment and weather
news in your location.
1. From the home screen, touch Main Menu
icon.
2. At the main menu, touch News &
Weather.
3. At the News screen, you can do one of the
following:
– Scroll left or right to view stories under
a different topic.
– Touch a story to view the story in detail.
– Press the Menu key to access more
features.
Google Search
Google Search allows you to search for
information on your device and on the Web.
Do a Word Search
1. From the home screen, touch Main Menu
icon.
2. At the main menu, touch Google Search.
