Is the USB cable correctly connected?
Is the USB device correctly powered?
Is the device inserted correctly?
Is the write protect tab of the disk in the protect position?
Is the device formatted?
Is the device inserted correctly?

Does the device contain data compatible with the Pa3X?
The USB device is probably defective, due to a short circuit, and cannot be used. While this will not damage
the Pa3X, it is advisable to remove the device.
