6.2.2. Using a PPPoE Connection

If your ISP cannot provide a static IP address, you can use a PPPoE connection to access
the camera over the Internet. To access the camera over a PPPoE connection, you should take a
username and a password from your ISP.
The N300 supports PPPoE connection. Follow the steps below to establish the connection:
Step 1: connect the IP camera to your computer directly.
Step 2: click the

Step 4: click [Save] to save the changes.
IMPORTANT!
To apply new settings you need to reboot the camera.
Step 5: connect the IP camera to the Ethernet network.
IMPORTANT!
After being connected to the Ethernet, the camera is available at the IP address assigned by your ISP. To
access the camera, you can use DynDNS service, which allows accessing the camera over the Internet
when using a PPPoE connection (for more details see paragraph 6.4).
