Ribbon End Point

v Normal (the default). The character life expectancy of the detected 6500 ribbon
type installed with an end point print contrast density of 0.5 for black inked
ribbons, or a similar representative value for colored or specialty ribbons.
v Lighter −1 The setting that allows the user to run a print contrast density of .44
for black inked ribbons, or a similar representative value for colored or specialty
ribbons
v Lighter −2 The setting that allows the user to run a print contrast density of .38.
v Lighter −3 The setting that allows the user to run a print contrast density of .32.
v Lighter −4 The setting that allows the user to run a print contrast density of .26.
v Lighter −5 The minimum setting that allows the user to run a print contrast
density of .2.
v Darker +3 The maximum setting that allows the user to run a print contrast
density of 0.8.
v Darker +2 The setting that allows the user to run a print contrast density of 0.7.
v Darker +1 The setting that allows the user to run a print contrast density of 0.6.

Ribbon Action

v Stop Ribbon End (the default). Stops ribbon action when ribbon life reaches 0%.
v Ignore Ribbon End When selected, the ribbon life display remains on the
control panel, and the printer continues to monitor ink consumption.
