Fuel

Make sure that there is sufficient fuel in the tank.
(See page 4-10.)
Inline fuel filter
Check the filter for dirt or damage before each
ride and at each refueling. Replace the filter if
dirty or damaged. (See page 8-11.)

Engine oil

Make sure that the engine oil is at the specified lev-
el. Add oil as necessary. (See page 8-11.)

Final transmission oil

Make sure that the final transmission oil is at the
specified level. Add oil as necessary.
(See page 8-14.)

Front and rear brakes

Brake levers
Check for correct free play in the brake levers. If
the free play is incorrect, adjust it. (See pages
8-23 and 8-26.)
Check operation of the levers. They should
move smoothly and there should be a firm feel-
ing when the brakes are applied. If not, have the
ATV checked by an E-TON dealer.
Brake fluid level
Check the brake fluid level. Add fluid if necessary.
(See page 8-25.)
Recommended brake fluid:
DOT4
Brake fluid leakage
Apply the disc brake fully for one minute. If the
brake lever starts to fade or fluids is seen leaking
from the reservoir or brake line joints, have the
vehicle brake system serviced by your E-TON
dealership.
