KEY START (CONTINUE)
Instead of using START/STOP, you can start a
Style by activating KEY START and pressing a
note on the keyboard. (The continue function is
explained in the Song/Style and Song chapters).
1. Press KEY START in Style stop status.
The first (left) of the 4 leds above the button
turns on to indicate the activation of the func-
tion.
2. Play a note on the lower keyboard area.
The current Variation of the Style arrange-
ment starts to play the instant the note is
played.
3. Release the note.
If ARRANGE MEMORY is on, releasing the
key causes the Style to continue playing.
If ARRANGE MEMORY is off, releasing the
key causes the arrangement, including the
drum track, to stop instantly.
If LOWER MEMORY is on, the Lower key-
board sound (if active) continues to play af-
ter releasing the key(s). If Arrange Memory
is also off, releasing the keys causes the ac-
companiment tracks stop while the Drum
track continues to play.
Use Key Start with Intro for an orchestrated in-
troduction
1. Without starting a Style, press KEY START
2.. Press INTRO
3. Play a note or chord on the lower keyboard area.
The Style will start with an orchestrated in-
