The i2004 supports most of the combination features and DN types that are
supported on the M2616 telephone, except for Distinctive Ringing and
DN-Based Message Waiting features (see "M2000 Series Meridian Digital
Telephones" on page 11). The total number of features and DNs for any
specific i2004 Internet Telephone cannot exceed six assigned to the
programmable keys, plus the ten predefined features assigned to the softkeys.
The Meridian 1 downloads the soft key labels. Any changes made in the
Meridian 1 configuration are reflected immediately in the key labeling. DN
keys are labeled with the DN number without the ESN location code.
The i2004 Internet Telephone supports features through Fixed
Feature/Service keys and self-labeled Programmable Line/Feature keys.
Figure 19 identifies the i2004 Internet Telephone Fixed Feature/Service and
soft keys.
