Code 39 Options -- continued
The multi-read function permits the temporary
storage of one or more codes in the decoder's
memory which will then be transmitted in a single
string message.
To operate the multi-read function, the desired
group of codes to be first stored must have a
mulit-read character as the leading character. This
character can be chosen in the multi-read table
inAppendix E after scanning the MULTI-READ
ENABLED bar code (default is SPACE character).
The transmission will start once a code having no
multiread character is read.
