Document cover assembly removal

1.
Remove the document input tray. See
2.
Unplug the two cables (A) from the back of the flatbed scanner.
3.
Open the document cover assembly.
4.
Place a hand at the top of the lid, and lift the document cover assembly until it catches on the bottom tabs.
