Press reset switch,
disconnect the power for 2 to 3 minutes,
and then turn on the power.
Is "E-01" displayed?
Yes
Causes:
1) Lithium Battery voltage drop
2) Inadequate solder jumper on the JP1
3) Power failure detection circuit failure

Is there
any anomaly
in the CR-system
Mechanism?
Yes
Eliminate causes.
• Built-in memory is not retained during power failure.
• Anomaly of built-in memory data
Note: Pressing the reset switch causes the settings, including the time
and calendar settings, to be initialized.
Causes:
CPU out of control due to AC line noise
No
or static electricity.
Note: When Lithium Battery voltage is 2V or less, replace battery.
(Battery life is 5 years in accumulated power failure time.)
When replacing Lithium Battery, make sure solder jumper is done
for the JP1 and press the reset switch.
• Print Head fails to return to its home position.
Causes:
1) Home position sensor failure

2) Home position sensor circuit failure
3) CR-system Mechanism failure
