Ambient Light Sensor
Detects the brightness of the ambient light and adjusts the brightness of the display accordingly
(Page 118).
Message/Ringer Lamp
The colour of the lamp shows the unit's status as follows:
Colour (state)
Green (flashing rapidly)
Red (steady on)
Green (flashing slowly)
Green (steady on)
If KX-UT670 is connected to a Panasonic KX-NS1000 PBX, the Message/Ringer Lamp shows the current status as follows:

Green (flashing rapidly): You are receiving an intercom call, or you are receiving a Hold Recall or Transfer Recall from an
extension.

Red (flashing rapidly): You are receiving an outside call, or you are receiving a Hold Recall or Transfer Recall from an
outside line.

Microphone
Used for hands-free conversation.
Handset Hook
Keeps the handset stable when the unit is mounted on a wall (Page 109).
