1. The on/off switch is in the "Off" position.
Switch to "On."
2. The engine is out of gasoline.
3. Engine choke is in wrong position. Adjust
choke lever according to instructions on
page 12.
4. Fouled spark plug, replace with equal or
greater quality plug. Refer to page 27 in your
user's manual for a complete list of spark
plug compatibility codes.
5. Insufficient oil, add more oil.
6. Clogged fuel line, inspect gas tank for
debris.
1. The engine does not have enough oil -
add oil.
2. Air filter element obstructed by debris.
Clean according to user manual instruc-
tions on page 18.
1. Disconnect load before starting.
2. Incorrect oil being used. Please refer to the
oil usage chart on page 27 in your user's
manual.
3. Fouled spark plug, replace with equal or
greater quality plug. Refer to page 27 in
your user's manual for a complete list of
spark plug compatibility codes.
1. Generator circuit breaker off or tripped
2. Remove all loads, reset breaker, and check
device for defects. Do not exceed generator
rating.
