CHECK THE AIR FILTER
WARNING
Never run the engine without the air filter. Rapid engine wear will result
from contaminants, such as dust and dirt, being drawn through the
carburetor into the engine.
1.
Remove air filter cover and sponge.
2.
Inspect filter sponge for dirt and debris.
3.
Clean filter sponge by soaking in gasoline, ring out before reinstalling.
4.
Replace air filter every 24 months or when necessary.
