Description
The Dial By Name feature allows a Deluxe Telephone user to quickly access ICM
numbers and Speed Dial Numbers by entering a partial name.
Default Settings:

Operation
This feature can only be invoked using a Deluxe Telephone Set.
1. Dial the feature program code,
or press a programmed Feature/DSS button programmed with
the code.
2. After the feature is invoked, Directory Type will be requested. ICM stands
for Intercom and SPD stands for Speed Dial.
3. If the softkey beneath ICM is pressed, a prompt will be provided for the to
input the Name. The input method is the same as in Message Waiting
Setting and Premise Message Setting. A maximum of 7 characters can be
input for searching.
4. If the softkey beneath SPD was selected in step 3, Speed Dial Type will be
further requested. ind stands for Individual (Personal) and sys stands for
System.
