- Click the Blank dropdown box. Then select DivX 5.2.1 Codec. ( There is an option for pass 1 and pass 2.
nd
For better quality enable 2

DVD )
Export Settings

Volume Don't exceed
- Click settings then infinite
Click on Apply
nd
Click on the Select Destination Icon 2
from the right and the following box will appear.
Click Browse then select where you want the DivX (AVI) file to be stored ( My documents is fine ) type in the file name
( i.e.: Movie Title ) then OK.
The last step is press Encode, last icon on the right. Now go to sleep, go to work or in my case go to the beach.
NB : Now next time you decode a DVD you should not need to change any of the settings and should only take you a
matter of seconds to get the encoding started.
Also you can play the DivX file on your PC using Media Player or DivX player. The file size is around 700-800 MB (
Using the settings as above )
Encoding DIVx to MPEG4
The settings I have outlined here are not definitive. You can have a play around with the various settings but these
have been tested with a Motorola v3x with the latest 3HG AU firmware. ( As of April 2006 ) There is no skipping, great
quality video and stereo sound. Also the video file is accessed without delay and fast forwarding is quick and painless.
Using Super © is quite easy. Since there is only one screen I have simply changed the settings that need to be
amended. Just make sure they match up to what you have before you encode.
