folder is in a) SYN_ChecksumFlex . All you need to do is copy the folder onto your phone. (Make sure you make a
copy of ALL the files on your phone before you change anything).
Getting rid of the PLANET 3 logo from the softkey

All you need is a copy of the mma_ucp file from a firmware as above. This is in a) (Oh forgot to mention after
uploading the SYN file above and the mma_ucp you will need to reboot your phone )* . Again...I would provide a copy
of the one I have but I wouldn't have a clue how to upload a file (I also don't have the internet and am using someone
else's connection for this, so I am not just being completely lazy). Perhaps someone else who has a firmware that has
the softkeys enabled could do this for me.
(rossy_k) After much to-ing and fro-ing I have managed to modify i-paws SYN_ChecksumFlex so that it no longer
shows "3TELSTRA" but indeed shows the 3 operator logo again as it did originally.
For those interested... use the attached SYN_ChecksumFlex.txt file (but delete the .txt suffix - I had to add the .txt
suffix in order to be able to attach it to this post)
Question: (pks) so this file enables us to reassign the soft keys but retain the 3 operator logo?
Answer: (rosy_k answer) Yes it does. The mma_ucp file that i-paw previously posted enables you to change the
softkeys. What this SYN_ChecksumFlex file does is remove the "Planet 3" logo from where the right softkey text
should be and it shows the operator logo as opposed to the "3TELSTRA" (Operator name)

unchecked the "Change left and right buttons" box, the 3 logo disappeared f
rom the right button

All I did was made a transparent gif file in Photoshop (make it 47x43 ) name it ol.gif and placed it into a\mobile\system.
No more 3 Logo.* Again I'd upload it but....

Anyone attempting to use the 3 internet connection their broadband program that you download from the web doesn't
seem to work with the v3x. Just open mobile phone tools and click on the internet icon and it will connect straight
away. No configuration needed. (Be aware that without a net plan it is extremely expensive. Oh and this is for 3
Australia
The reason I have posted the above is because i flashed my phone to be able to change the softkeys and have found
that when creating playlists my phone seems to hang forever. Also when accesing 512mb of wma files it does the
same, I hadn't noticed this with the original firmware.
Oh almost forgot if you need to amend your websessions that are locked just go into the locked websession and copy
it
. No need to write down all the settings. You can then amend them at will!
