WebSession file. You must go to "Messages->Setup->Message Setup->Multimedia Msg Setup->Server info" Here you
must add/select the websession name of your MMS websession. (Check under "Main Menu-> WebAccess") [In the
case of H3G Aus, it is "3 MMS"]. Then you have to click the left softkey "Options" and then select "Edit". You then have
to manually enter the "Server Name" (In the case of H3G Aus it is http://mmsc.three.net.au:10021/mmsc). For "Web
Session Name" ensure it is the same websession as the one you saw under "Main Menu -> WebAccess-> Web
Sessions". There is also another menu in the "Current Server" screen - it is "Service Name" - you can put whatever
you like here I assume, but I called it the same as my websession name (Ie. "3 MMS") to avoid an issues.
The above sounds confusing.. and it is to some extent... but it can be worked around.
One more thing... if you want to know the "Server name" but don't know it.. don't worry - you can get it from the "Main
Menu -> WebAccess -> Web Sessions" screen. There is a slight trick though.... When you go to "Main Menu -> Web
Access" and see your MMS server (Say 3 MMS) you wont be able to edit it to look at what the settings are as it will be
locked. (This is assuming you are using your service providers WebSession file you backed up before flashing). Now
all you have to do is click "Options" on your MMS websession (3 MMS) then select "Copy Entry". When it asks "Copy
To:" just type anything here - then click OK. Now click "Options" on the new websession you just copied and you can
now select "Edit". Presto! All this info is now visible and you can copy the info under "Homepage" and paste it back
where you needed it earlier! Phew... OK.. now that we have covered that bit...
OK so now I could send MMS messages and thought all was working sweet. but not quite... I found that my phone
would take around 30-40 mins to receive an MMS. Hmmm... The one thing I noticed is that after the MP flash my
GPRS icon turned into the "White box with blue pentagons above and below" (Conventional 2G GPRS icon) icon
instead of the "Small box inside Big box with rays of sunlight" (Square icon).
I suspected this GPRS mode difference was the cause of the issue.... so I set out to fix it. I made all the seem mods I
could to 0032_0001 that were documented and even slightly related to GPRS ... no avail...
My brother also has a V3x, so I started copying SEEMs over... It turns out that it is in SEEM 004a_0001. I compared
his (85.99.50R - reflash) to my 85.9A.80R MP and there were 187 differences.... So off I went... Now, I'm sure you've
all read enough, so to cut a long story short, I had to enable:
Offset 10D: Bit 2 ON.
This made the square icon above re-appear and now I receive my MMS messages instantly once again! I was a bit
reluctant to post this as I knew it would take a while to type out... but here it is. Hopefully it helps someone out there. I
think that SEEM I discovered should be added to the V3x SEEM discovery thread, but I'm not sure exactly what it
should be titled.... maybe:
To enable GPRS always:
SEEM 004a_0001
Offset 10D: Bit 1 ON.

There is no need to update your firmware just to enable this feature. Download the Syn_checksumFlex file from this
site at: http://rapidshare.de/files/29444704/SYN_ChecksumFlex.html. Now, just replace your file from th /a/ directory
on your phone with this downloaded file. BTW: Always, backup your original file first.
