Motorola Razr V3x Personalization Guide (MoGu V3xPG) V2.5
(Volume 1 - Primary Mods)
S4M and copy the ....\Techno\gif folder to safe place as well and call it "Techno-gif". Here again, backup is your
choice.
Now open the image viewer twice, one time to see the gif images in the RazrFire-gif folder, and another to see the gif
images in the techno-gif folder.
Because the Techno skin is a V3x skin all images have the right size and therefore the gif images in the Techno-gif
folder are your templates.
I take the left soft button (630.gif) as an example here. The gif files have all the same number in every skin. So the
630.gif is always the left soft button in a V3 skin, a V3x skin in an E1000 skin and so on.
Now you will see why it is good to have two image viewers open. Highlight 630.gif in the Techno-gif folder and you will
see that the size of that image is 120x33. That is the normal V3x left soft button size (sometimes it is 120x30 with other
skin, but Techno has 120x33).
If you do the same with the RazrFire skin you will see that 630.gif in the RazrFire-gif folder has a size of 78x21. So
open your gif image editor and resize the 630.gif from the RazrFire-gif folder to 120x33 and save it. See, you just have
transformed a V3 left soft button image to a V3x left soft button image.
I told you it is quite easy, but now you have a few more images to resize. The basic graphical V3 skin parts that need
to be transformed are
