Motorola Razr V3x Personalization Guide (MoGu V3xPG) V2.5
consists up to 90-100 frames and I believe mobile phones processors are not fast enough to produce smooth
animation.
However, in order to achieve a smoother screen saver on your phone, you may want to resize the screen saver or the
.gif image's resolution to 144x176 instead of 240x320 on a V3x but it will not be full screen. Or, you can edit that
animation file and reduce the number of frames instead and reduce the colors from 8bit or 16bit to 256-colors as it will
greatly reduce the file size.
I can't really explain this in detail why it can play smoothly so you'll have to wait for someone that is an expert in this to
reply. By the way, there isn't a way to play Animated Wallpapers yet and I've read in forums that this will not be under
seem edits but in firmwares. So we will have to wait till someone crack this one.
Meanwhile, I've posted some cool, not so laggy, 240x320, full screen screen savers into a .zip file (2MB). Download

How to Remove the Carrier Logo/Date/Time from the Internal Display Without SEEM Editing (Rasputin007)

This was posted by Rasputin: Don't do this on the "default" skin. This guide is about how to remove the operator
logo, date, and time. It is actually quite easy.
1. open your favourite skin in Skinner4Moto.
2. choose "Operator font" (third item in scroll down list, called grouped elements)
3. check "Show Margin", now you should see lots of white lined rectangles in the home screen on the left.
4. on the right side you see the head line Operator font and underneath Color, Tansparency, Underline....At the
bottom it says "Position" and next to it is a checked "Lock Size".
5. Under the "Position" menu are six individual dials: Left, Right, Top, Bottom, Width and Height.
6. Set the value of both "Width" and "Height" to 4, NEVER EVER set them to 0 or your phone will need a reflash
to work again!!!
7. Uncheck "Light Skin" on left hand menu and then save.
8. copy back onto phone, reboot phone, select your skin and no more operator logo. What you basically do is
you set the space for the operator font to 4x4 pixels, which is far too small to show the text.
Removing the date is just as easy as to remove the operator logo. Open the skin in Skinner4Moto. Look for date font
in "Grouped elements", uncheck Lock (at the right hand side, just above the position settings), then change width and
height to 4, NEVER EVER to 0!!!!. To be fully sure set font colour transparency to 255 and uncheck outline. It is
exactly the same way how you remove the operator logo. Just make sure you have the "Light-Skin" option unchecked
before you save your modified skin cbecause it is always checked when you open S4M (default settings).

Changing Carrier Text (unproven on the V3x) (xlr8)
SEEM 0032, offset 4B, bit 6 must be set to "0"
in some cases, seem 0032, offset 02, bit 1 must be set to "0" also
First offset prior to text is the number of characters in the alpha tag, in hex
Example: "Cingular" would require "08" and "XLR8 Is Awesome" would require "0F"
Confusing? Maybe so. A little lesson for counting in hexadecimal. Forget what you learned about counting to "10" in
Kindergarten; let's count to "10" in hex...00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 0A, 0B, 0C, 0D, 0E, 0F, 10 (exciting,
huh? wanna count to "10" in binary? 00, 01, 10 EASY!)
Second offset prior to text has something to do with the band the
not changing it. It appears as though 01/02/03 denote 900/1800 and 04/08/0C denote 850/1900 and 05/07/09 denote
