Tighten the spark plug, complet-
ing half a turn to compress the
washer.
Spark plug tightening torque: 14.75 lbf
ft (20 Nm).
IMPORTANT
TIGHTEN THE SPARK PLUG COR-
RECTLY, OTHERWISE THE ENGINE
MAY OVERHEAT AND BECOME IRRE-
TRIEVABLY DAMAGED. USE RECOM-
MENDED SPARK PLUGS ONLY. US-
ING A SPARK PLUG OTHER THAN
THOSE SPECIFIED MIGHT COMPRO-
MISE ENGINE PERFORMANCE AND
LIFE.

Insert the electrical connection
tube (1) to the spark plug (2) cor-
rectly so that it does not detach
as the engine vibrates.
IMPORTANT
REPEAT THE OPERATION DESCRI-
BED ABOVE ON THE SPARK PLUG
ON THE OTHER CYLINDER.

tourner 1/2 de tour pour compri-
mer la rondelle.
Couple de serrage de la bougie : 14.75
lb ft (20 Nm)

LA BOUGIE DOIT ÊTRE BIEN VISSÉE,
AUTREMENT LE MOTEUR POURRAIT
SURCHAUFFER ET S'ENDOMMAGER
GRAVEMENT. UTILISER SEULEMENT
DES BOUGIES DE TYPE CONSEILLÉ,
AUTREMENT ON RISQUE DE COM-
PROMETTRE LES PRESTATIONS ET
LA DURÉE DE VIE DU MOTEUR.

Positionner correctement la pi-
pette (1) de la bougie (2), de
façon à ce qu'elle ne se détache
pas avec les vibrations du mo-
teur.
ATTENTION
RÉPÉTER LES OPÉRATIONS DÉCRI-
TES SUR LA BOUGIE DE L'AUTRE CY-
LINDRE.
