ALWAYS REPLACE BOTH SPARK
PLUGS, EVEN THOUGH ONLY ONE
NEEDS REPLACING.
IMPORTANT
BEFORE CARRYING OUT THE FOL-
LOWING STEPS, ALLOW THE ENGINE
AND THE MUFFLER TO COOL DOWN
UNTIL THEY REACH ROOM TEMPER-
ATURE IN ORDER TO AVOID ANY
BURNS.
IMPORTANT
THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS RE-
FER TO A SINGLE CYLINDER, BUT
THEY ARE VALID FOR BOTH CYLIN-
DERS.
To remove:
•
Remove the pipette (1) from the
spark plug.
•
Remove any sign of dirt from the
spark plug base.
•
Unscrew the spark plug using
an appropriate wrench (2) and
remove it from the housing, tak-
ing care not to allow any dust or
other substances to get inside

the cylinder.

D'ÉCHAPPEMENT JUSQU'À
QU'ILS AIENT ATTEINT LA TEMPÉRA-
TURE AMBIANTE, AFIN D'ÉVITER DE
POSSIBLES BRÛLURES.
ATTENTION
LES OPÉRATIONS SUIVANTES FONT
RÉFÉRENCE À UN SEUL CYLINDRE,
MAIS RESTENT VALABLES POUR
LES DEUX.
Pour la déposer :
•
Déposer la pipette (1) de la bou-
gie.
•
Enlever toute trace de saleté de
la base de la bougie.
•
Dévisser la bougie à l'aide de la
clé appropriée (2) et l'extraire de
son logement en veillant à ne
pas laisser entrer des poussiè-
res ou d'autres substances à
l'intérieur du cylindre.
