Print Exposure
Select the print exposure level from the range -2 to
2.
The initial setting is "0".
Output Priority
Select the default finishing type when the copier is
equipped with a Finisher from among the
following: Non-Sort, Sort, Group, Non-Sort +
Hole Punch, Sort + Hole Punch, Sort + Staple,
Sort + Staple + Hole Punch, Group + Hole Punch,
Group + Staple, Group + Staple + Hole Punch.
The initial setting is "Non-Sort."
* The "Hole Punch" and "Staple" functions are
valid only when the copier is equipped with a
Finisher or Mailbin Finisher.

Intelligent Sorting
Select whether to turn "ON" or "OFF" the
function that automatically switches between Sort
and Non-Sort, selecting Non-Sort if only a single
original is loaded and Sort if two or more originals
are loaded in the Document Feeder.
The initial setting is "ON."
Output Tray
Select either the "1(st bin)" or "2(nd bin)" for
output when the copier is equipped with a Job
Tray, Finisher, or Mailbin Finisher.
The initial setting is:
"1" for PC prints and "2" for copies with the
Job Tray.
"2 (Elevator Tray)" for PC prints with the
Finisher or Mailbin Finisher.
"Small" Originals
Select whether to enable ("ON") a copy cycle or
not ("OFF") when it is initiated by pressing the
Start key with no originals placed on the Original
Glass or with an original smaller than the
detectable size placed on the Glass in the Auto
Paper mode.
If this function is turned "ON," the copy cycle is
run using the paper loaded in the default paper
source. If turned "OFF," a warning message
appears to instruct the user to select the paper.
The initial setting is "ON."
Scanner Dry
Set the time for automatically dehumidifying the
Scanner. Any value up to 24 hours may be set in
1-min. increments.
Density (ADF)
This function allows you to adjust the copy image
density level when the copier is equipped with an
Automatic Document Feeder.
: Mode1
Select the density level according to the original,
either Mode1 or Mode2.
The initial setting is "Mode1."
Mode1 : Used for the standard original, such as a
word-processor made document.
Mode2 : Effective in reproducing a pale original,
such as a faint pencil-written document.
