12. If the main cable for this unit is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or the
manufacturer's customer service department to avoid hazards.
13. If the unit or accessories have defects, cracks, fractures or other damage, they must no longer
be operated and must be disconnected properly from the electrical cable/power supply for repair
purposes, sent back to the manufacturer or disposed of. The unit must be identified accordingly to
prevent reconnection.
14. Note that depending on the currently available supply voltage the actual power of the device
may change as well as the emitted power as a result of environmental influences.
15. Make absolutely sure to always switch off the device after use.
3. Unpacking / packing
Carefully unpack the unit and the accessories, do not use sharp objects that could damage the unit
to open the packaging.
This product was packaged in an eco-friendly way. All HEATSCOPE® ZERO packaging coming into
circulation either directly or via trade is certified according to §6 of the packaging regulations. All
HEATSCOPE® ZERO packaging can therefore be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner
in collection containers for packaging materials. The respective local regulations must be observed
in this respect. Further information is available upon request.
Care instruction!
Important! Before first use, please clean the heater surface with an alcohol­free customary glass
cleaner. Fingerprints can cause discolour at the surface.
Never use cleaner with alkaline ingredients, as
like as Natriumhydroxyd or soap. Just use cleaner with tensides and low solvents like low alcohol etc.

4. Installation instructions

The different options for installing the HEATSCOPE® ZERO are shown in the diagrams at the end of
this manual.
Make sure that the radiant heater is securely connected and fixed to the installation surface. The
fasteners must be of a tensile and shear strength of at least 3 times the weight of the radiant hea-
ter that is being mounted including the accessories. Use the corresponding screws and plugs (not
supplied) to secure the unit.
The HEATSCOPE® ZERO must never be mounted vertically under any circumstances.
Please note that you always need two mounting brackets to mount your device safely.
