13. Decommissioning / disposal
This product was packaged in an eco-friendly way. All HEATSCOPE® ZERO packaging
coming into circulation either directly or via trade is certified according to §6 of the
packaging regulations. All HEATSCOPE® ZERO packaging can therefore be disposed
of in an environmentally friendly manner in collection containers for packaging
materials. The respective local regulations must be observed in this respect.
When the device is no longer functional, it must be decommissioned by a specialist
according to the applicable regulations and secured against recommissioning.
The device must be disposed of professionally and in an environmentally friendly

* The HEATSCOPE® ZERO ¤ radiant heater is normally delivered with an open cable without a plug.
The connection and the relevant tests required for stationary units must be performed and docu-
mented by a qualified electrician. Note here, in any case, the appropriate standards, e.g. VDE etc.
The connection cable MHS­ASK with safety plug (with silicone cable and cable connectors, black
with locking pin, 16 A/250 V AC AWG15, length approx. 59 Inch/1,5m) is available as an accessory –
exclusively for the European market.
