Honda Remote Control Starter System Service Manual: 2007 CR-V
1. Connect the tablet tester to the under
dash data link connector. Then turn
on the ignition switch to communicate
with the HDS.
2. Under Honda System, Body
Electrical, Remote Control Engine
Starter, check if B2259 is shown.
Is B2259 shown?
YES – See section 9.2.11 for DTC
trouble shooting.
NO – Replace the control unit.

15.2.9 Engine does not stop when the driver's door lock is released.
