The engine automatically stops when the following
conditions are met:
• 10 or 20 minutes has passed after starting the
engine.
• The doors are unlocked (depends on the model).
• A door is opened.
• The brake pedal is depressed.
• The gearshift lever is in any position but "P."
• The engine hood is opened.
• The tailgate or trunk lid is opened.
• The keyless entry-integrated key or ignition key is
inserted into the ignition switch.
• The security warning system is activated.
• The panic warning system is activated.
• The engine speed rises to 4,000 rpm or more.
• The engine malfunction indicator lamp comes ON.
• The low oil pressure indicator comes ON.
