Preface

Thank you for purchasing the DocuPrint C3055/C3055 DX.
This guide explains how to operate this printer and the precautions that must be followed
during operation.
To get the most out of this printer and to use it effectively, be sure to read this guide before
use.
This guide assumes you are familiar with computers and the basics of network operation
and configuration.
After reading this guide, keep it safe and handy for future reference.
The illustrations used in this guide are those of the DocuPrint C3055.
The DocuPrint C3055 DX is not available in China and Taiwan.
To lessen the effect on the environment, this manual is manufactured with recycling in mind. After the
product has been used, please send this manual for recycling.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant
to the International Standard for Electromagnetic Interference (CISPR Publ. 22) and
Radiocommunication Act 1992 in Australia/New Zealand. These limits are designed to provide
reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates,
uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee
that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful
interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and
on, the user is encouraged to try to connect the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
