Low Battery Indication
Remote handset: BATT will appear on the display when
the battery needs to be replaced.
Replace with one 9 V alkaline battery.
Receiver: Three short 'beeps' will sound when the motor
turns when the batteries need to be replaced. Replace with four 1.5 V alkaline batteries.
NOTE: With very low battery, the valve shuts off the fi re completely. This does not happen when the power supply is
interrupted.
Handset / Receiver Match
The remote control handset and receiver are programmed to function together. In case of a replacement of the handset
or the receiver, you will need to reset the receiver to allow them to function together. Contact your dealer for details
Automatic Standby Mode
If there is no transmission from the handset to the receiver within a 6-hour period, the appliance will go to Standby
(pilot) mode.

Wall Control Switch Kit 1265WSK
Operates the controls of the fi replace from a wall
switch.
Circulating Fan Kit 555CFK
Having variable speed and temperature control, it
is designed to boost the natural convection process
through the appliance. It may be fi tted before the
fi replace is installed or retrofi tted at a later date.
Remote Control Operation
DO NOT USE a screwdriver or other metallic object
to remove the batteries from the battery box or the
handset! This could cause a short circuit.

LPG Conversion Kit 554LPK
Burner and injector kit for conversion from natural gas
to propane.
Hearth Gate (optional)
Hearth gates such as Kidco's are available at retail
stores carrying safety products for children.
