2. Use one of the arrow keys to move between options and modify the se-
lected options by using PgUp / PgDn / + / - keys. An explanation of the
<F> keys follows:
<F1>: "Help" gives options available for each item.
<F5>: Get the previous values. These values are the values with which the
user started in the current session.
<F6>: Load all options with the BIOS default values.
<F7>: Load all options with the Setup default values.

The chipset contains a PCI IDE interface with sup-

port from two IDE channels. Select Enabled to acti-
vate the first and/or the second IDE interface. Select
Disabled to deactivate an interface if you install a pri-
mary and/or second add-on IDE interface.
The choice: Enabled, Disabled.
prefetching for faster drive accesses. If you install a
primary and/or secondary add-in IDE interfaces, set
this field to Disabled if the interface does not support
prefetching.
The choice: Enabled, Disabled.
Choose Auto or Mode 0~4. The BIOS will detect the
HDD mode type automatically when you choose Auto.
You need to set to a lower mode than Auto when your
hard disk becomes unstable.
The choice: Auto, Mode 0, Mode 1, Mode 2, Mode 3,
Mode 4.
Ultra DMA/66 implementation is possible only if your
IDE hard drive supports it and the operating environ-
ment includes a DMA drive and your system software
both support Ultra DMA/66, select Auto to enable
BIOS support.
The choice: Auto, Disabled.
