Rascal AutoGo Owner's Manual

Speed Settings

The overall forward/reverse speed range of the vehicle is selected from
the Speed Control knob on the dash. Lower settings result in slower
speeds. Higher settings provide faster speeds.
When first operating your vehicle, select slower settings until you feel
comfortable.

Inclines

ALWAYS lean forward when traveling up inclines for greater
stability.
If vehicle stops on an incline, DO NOT attempt to continue climbing.
We do not recommend stopping on an incline.
If vehicle stalls on an incline, back down with the speed set at "slow" and
in one continuous movement. DO NOT start and stop.
Cornering & Turning
ALWAYS reduce speed when making a sharp turn or going around a
corner.

To test the onboard battery charger of a Rascal AutoGo, follow these steps:

1. Check the Battery Pack LED – Ensure the LED on the Battery Pack is lit when plugged in.
2. Verify Cord Connections – Make sure the power cord is properly plugged into both the Battery Pack and the electrical outlet.
3. Observe Charging Behavior – If the battery does not charge, load test the batteries to determine if they need replacement.
4. Check for a Faulty Charger – If the Battery Pack LED is not lit and connections are correct, the charger may be defective. Contact Electric Mobility or an Authorized Service Center for further assistance.
