The divided files are named as follows:

"Divide at This Position": The divided files will be
ˋ ˎ
suffixed with a sequential number ("_1," "_2").
"At All Track Marks": A suffix made up of a
ˋ ˎ
sequential number ("_01," "_02") is added to each
of the divided files.
Notes
You cannot divide a file if:
ˎ ˎ
The file is recorded by a device other than the
ˋ ˎ
linear PCM recorder.
The file is protected.
ˋ ˎ
You try to divide the file at a point less than 0.5
ˋ ˎ
seconds from the beginning or the end of the file.
The total number of recorded files reaches the
ˋ ˎ
maximum number of recordable files.
The new file name exceeds the maximum number
ˋ ˎ
of characters.
The file name after division is identical to an
ˋ ˎ
existing file in the folder.
There is a track mark less than 0.5 second from
ˋ ˎ
the division position (only when dividing at all of
the track mark positions).
If there is a track mark within 0.5 seconds of the
ˎ ˎ
dividing position (only when you are dividing a
file at the current position), the division will be
proceeded by erasing the track mark.
