Displaying the current file information
In play or playback stop mode, display the
OPTION menu and select "File Information."
You can display various information on the
current file including the recording date, file
size, title, artist information, record mode, or
LCF/LIMITER settings.
You can scroll the display by pressing

When files are played to the end of the
last file
When you play or fast play to the end of the

last file, "FILE END" lights up for 5 seconds.
When "FILE END" lights off, the linear PCM
recorder will stop at the beginning of the
last file.
If you press and hold the
ˎ
ˎ
"FILE END" is lit, the files are played rapidly,
and normal playback will start at the point
where you release the button.
If the last file is long and you wish to start
ˎ
ˎ
playback at a later part of the file, press and
hold the
button to go to the end of the
file and then press the
"FILE END" is lit to go back to the desired
point.
For files other than the last one, go to the
ˎ
ˎ
beginning of the next file and then fast-
rewind to the desired point during playback.
Notes
During playback, do not remove the batteries or AC
ˎ
ˎ
adaptor (not supplied). Doing so may cause noise
in audio output from the LINE OUT (OPT) jack and 
(headphones) jack.
To jump to the recording function quickly, press the
ˎ
ˎ
REC button or select "Go to REC" from the OPTION
menu.
Do not set the volume to an excessively high
ˎ
ˎ
level. The volume is set at a higher level than a
conventional device due to the high output level of
headphones. Please set the volume to a moderate
level.
