Copying a file to a different
folder
You can copy a selected file to the desired
folder. This function is useful for saving a
backup.

Select the file you want to copy from
the HOME menu (page 28).

In play or playback stop mode, press
the OPTION button to display the
OPTION menu, select "Move/Copy
File," then press the  button.

Press  and  to select "Copy to
Built-In Memory" or "Copy to Memory
Card," and press the  button.

Press  and  to select "  Recorded
Files" or "  Music" as the destination,
and press the  button.

Press  and  to select the folder that
you want to copy the file to, and press
the  button.
The file is copied and appears as the last
file in the destination folder.
To cancel copying the file
Press the HOME/BACK button while "Please
wait" appears on the display. "Interrupt
process?" is displayed. Press
to select "Yes," then press the
cancel copying.

Sorting file names

Files in the current folder can be sorted
in UNICODE order, which is useful when
organizing files that have been copied or
moved to the current folder.

In file list, press the OPTION button to
display the OPTION menu, select "Sort
File Names," and then press the 
button.
The files in the folder are sorted in UNICODE
order.
