Note
The peak level lamps do not light during digital
recording.

Press  PAUSE (or  ) button.
The standby for recording is released, and
recording starts.

To pause recording
Press the
PAUSE button during recording.
and the counter display flash. Press the
button again to restart recording.
The linear PCM recorder does not start
recording again automatically. Be sure to press
the
PAUSE button again to restart recording.
To stop recording
Press the
STOP button.
Remaining recordable time display
When the remaining recordable time is
less than 10 minutes during recording, the
remaining recordable time flashes on the
display.
When the remaining time runs out, "Memory
Full" appears and recording stops.

While
is lit on the display, do not remove the
ˎ
ˎ
batteries, an AC adaptor (not supplied) or a memory
card. Doing so may damage the data.
If the linear PCM recorder remains in stop mode for
ˎ
ˎ
about 10 minutes or longer, the linear PCM recorder
will enter low-power consumption mode
automatically. Power, however, is consumed during
the low-power mode. When you are not going to
use the linear PCM recorder, please turn off the
power.
Noise may be recorded if an object, such as your
ˎ
ˎ
finger, etc., accidentally rubs or scratches the linear
PCM recorder during recording.
Do not connect the USB cable to the linear PCM
ˎ
ˎ
recorder during recording. Doing so stops recording
automatically (because connection with a computer
has priority).
If the size of a file exceeds 1 GB for an MP3 file and
ˎ
ˎ
2 GB for an LPCM/DSD file during recording, a new
file is created automatically and the excess portion
will be recorded as a new file.
