Pyrolysis

During pyrolysis, the oven heats up to 905°F (485°C).
Thus, remainders from roasting, grilling or baking are
burnt up and all you have to do is wipe the ash out of
the interior.
Pyrolysis takes three hours. You can move the
pyrolysis switch-off time (for example, if you would like
it to run at night).

WARNING
During the elimination of soil during self-
cleaning, small amounts of Carbon Monoxide
can be created and the fiberglass insulation
could give off very small amounts of
formaldehyde during the first several cleaning
cycles. To minimize exposure to these
substances, provide good ventilation with an
open window, or use a ventilation fan or hood.
Wipe out excessive spillage before self-cleaning the
oven.

WARNING
Risk of fire
The appliance becomes very hot during
pyrolytic cleaning. Never hang flammable items
such as dishcloths on the door handle. Keep
the front of the appliance clear. Keep children
away.
9
WARNING
Severe health risk
The appliance becomes very hot during
pyrolytic cleaning. The non-stick coatings on
trays and forms are destroyed and toxic gases
are produced. Never leave trays and forms with
non-stick coatings in the oven during pyrolytic
self-cleaning. Only ever leave enameled
accessories in it.
Do not clean parts or accessories in the self-clean
oven.
