Q: How do I install USB drivers for remote viewing using Skype™?
A: USB drivers for Skype™ remote viewing on PC and Mac are available on the CD or as a free
download from www.lorextechnology.com.
To install USB Driver for Windows:
• Install the Driver for PC from the CD.
OR
• Go to www.lorextechnology.com
your model. Extract the installer file, double-click USBdriver.exe, and follow the on-screen
instructions to install.
To install USB Driver for Mac:
• Install the SD Series Mac Driver file located in the Mac folder on the CD.
OR
• Go to www.lorextechnology.com
your model. Double-click the .zip file to extract the contents. Open the folder SD Series Mac
Driver and double-click the WirelessCameraMacDriverSuiteInstaller (.pkg) file. Follow the
on-screen instructions to install.
Q: How do I setup remote viewing using Skype™?
A: Follow the instructions under "Viewing your camera remotely using Skype™" on page 38. If
you have followed the instructions and still can't connect, check the following:
• Have you installed USB drivers for the video monitor? See question above for details.
• Is the video monitor connected to your computer using a USB cable? The monitor will say
USB PC CAMERA MODE on the screen when it is connected. The video monitor must be
connected via the USB cable to access the video over Skype.
• Have you created a separate Skype account for the wireless receiver? You must create a
separate account for the video monitor so you can call it using your personal Skype account.
• Have you added your personal Skype account to the Contacts list for the video monitor's Skype
account?
• Have you enabled the video monitor Skype account to auto-answer incoming calls? For PC
instructions, see "Step 4 of 6: Configuring Skype" on page 42. For Mac instructions, see "Step
4 of 6: Configuring Skype" on page 47.
