Onboard Processor and Heatsink

The A1SRi-2758F features an embedded Intel® C2000 Tri-Gate 22nm SoC (Sys-
tem-on-a Chip) Series processor and attached heatsink.

Installing Memory Modules

Note: Check the Supermicro web site for recommended memory modules.
Exercise extreme care when installing or removing DIMMs to
Installing & Removing DIMMs
1. Insert the desired number of DIMMs into the memory slots in the following
order: DIMMA1, then DIMMB1, then DIMMA2, then DIMMB2. For best perfor-
mance, please use DIMMs of the same type and same speed. See the DIMM
installation charts on the following pages.
2. Push back the release tabs on the ends of a memory slot. Insert each DIMM
vertically into its slot, paying attention to the notch along the bottom of the
DIMM to prevent inserting it incorrectly.
3. Gently press down on the DIMM until it snaps into place in the slot. Repeat
for all modules.
4. Reverse the steps above to remove a DIMM from the motherboard.
To Install: Insert
module vertically
and press down
until it snaps into
place. Pay attention
to the alignment
notch at the bottom.
To Remove:
Use your thumbs to
gently push the re-
lease tabs near both
ends of the module.
This should release
it from the slot.
