8.3 Beeping, Indicator LEDs with scanner status

■ Normal operation
A read of a bar code is successfully complete
Barcode data read matches the master data in the n-point verification
scan mode
Barcode data read matches the master data in the 2-point verification
scan mode
Master data ragistration is successfully complete in the data
verification mode
The scanner is ready to register master data in the data verification
mode
The "Start setting", "End setting" or "Cancel" bar code is read from the
bar code menu
Reading of parameter setting codes
Configuration software starts up or accepts new setting
The scanner has read the "STRT" or "END" bar code out of
batch-process bar code symbols generated with the configuration
software.
The scanner has read the "DATA1–8" barcode out of batch-process
barcode symbols generated with the configuration software.
Power activation
(Note1) The configuration software provides three choices for the beeping time of a short beep-60, 80
and120 ms.
(Note2) Beeps 70 ms× 2 times (140ms) when setting of the sound to complete reading is compound sound.
(Note3) Beeps if configuration software accept beeping for when the power is on. (Default not allowed)

■ Error operation
Barcode data read does not match the master data in the data
verification mode.
Any codes apart from parameter setting code is read from the barcode
menu.
Three minutes have elapsed without reading any parameter setting
barcode after the barcode menu in the parameter setting procedudre.
Three minutes have elapsed without reading DATA after the scanner
has read the "START" barcode out of batch-process barcode symbols
generated with the configuration software.
A transmission error or timeout has occurred during communicaiton
with the configuration software.
Invalid control command is received.
A master barcode has the wrong numbr of digits during registration of
master data.
