Ringer Volume and Ring Tone Selection

There are two versions of the Regency 400:
1
Version One:
- The switch used to adjust the ringer
volume is located on the right side of
the telephone base. To adjust the
loudness of the ringing, slide the switch
to the desired position of HI/LOW/OFF.
The factory sets the ringer volume to
the HI position.
- One ring tone available.

Version Two:
The Ringer Volume and 4 selections of
ring tones are accessed through the
Directory Store Key
- With the handset on-hook, press
the DIRECTORY/STORE key until the
LCD display reads VOLUME <<<
( Figure 1). The ringer volume is
initially set to the 4th level of the
volume range. Use the VOLUME key,
located below the dial pad, to
adjust the volume. The ringer
volume control will automatically set to the selected level for
the next phone call.
- Press the DIRECTORY/STORE key again. The LCD display will
read RINGER TONE 0 — 3: 0 ( Figure 2). Then enter the digit
number ( 0, 1, 2, 3) of the desired ringer tone. The ringer tone
control will automatically set to selected level for the next
phone call.
