Pull out the jammed paper slowly.

Reset the grey lever on the left hand
side (1) back to the original position.

Close the back cover.

Put the paper tray firmly back in the
machine.

Routine maintenance

CAUTION
The drum unit contains toner, so handle it
carefully. If toner scatters on your hands or
clothes, wipe or wash it off with cold water
at once.
Cleaning the outside of the
machine
CAUTION
Use neutral detergents. Cleaning with
volatile liquids such as thinner or benzine
will damage the outside surface of the
machine.
DO NOT use cleaning materials that
contain ammonia.
DO NOT use isopropyl alcohol to remove
dirt from the control panel. It may crack the
panel.
DO NOT use flammable substances any
type of spray to clean the inside or outside of
the machine. Doing this may cause a fire or
electrical shock. (For more information, see
Important Safety Instructions on page 103.)
